The Chinese Character Learning App is an interactive tool for studying Mandarin Chinese characters (hanzi). It displays correct stroke order animations for each character, allowing learners to see precisely how each character is drawn — the sequence and direction of every stroke. The app covers commonly studied characters organized by frequency and HSK level.

Under the hood, stroke order data is derived from the KanjiVG project and rendered as animated SVG paths in the browser. Users can search for any character, view its pinyin pronunciation, meaning, and radical components, and practice tracing strokes interactively. A decomposition view shows how complex characters are built from simpler components.
